Hello everyone how are you? So in drama we have a reading part for drama and today on this nice gloomy day we are doing reading. Then next period we are doing drama. So for this part i'm doing a D.L.O so a digital learning object and I picked the drawing D.L.O. This is what it looks like.

The Present

Hello everyone. Our teacher signed us a task to do we had to watch a video and answer some question here are the question.

• How would you describe the boy at the start of the video?

At the start the boy was really into he was really in to his game and when his mum got home he didn't want to be disturb by his mother but she put at box and open the blinds.

• What did he think of his present? How do you know? Why did he feel that way?
  He felt happy at the start till he saw the dogs leg the through it to the ground and kept playing his game then more into the story he start laughing at the dog because the dog was being cute and chasing the ball.

• What lesson did the boy learn by the end of the film?
  To respect everyone and everything no matter what he looked like nor who they were and to care for that person or that something because we should always love what we have or what we get,
• Why is it important to be grateful for what we have?

Because you never know how long its going to last nor how long you will have it for. to be grateful for what you have you need to love it and use it or spend time with it so no matter what we have or what we should be given you should always respect it

Reading-After The Strom

Who is in this family? Sam is one of the brother, Matthew hes the other brother, Jessie is the sister then there dad and mum.

Jessie feels scared and weird about the skull they food and she want Matthew to put it back.

Would you have put your hand down the hole? Why/why not? I would not put my hand down a hole because I don't know if its safe but I would put a stick down it first.

What does strewn mean? Write a sentence using the word strewn. The class room was very strewn with pencils and pens clean it up. Strewn mean untidy or scattered.

P.E

Hello everyone today we did P.E and we had to test our heart rates let start with my heart rate.

So at the beginning we had to cheek our resting heart rate and that tells us how many pumps my heart had we I was calm a rested and not out of breath. Then I did the 30m sprite I didn't cheek my heart rate after my running so I didn't get it but it was most likely over about 110++, because my resting heart rate is 90 pumps in 30 seconds. For my time in my running it was 19.7. Then we did the agility test my heart rate for the resting was 90 and I also didn't take my heart rate after it but I didn't feel much different after it then when I started so I think it was about 94-99.

Over all today I learnt how to take my heart rate and how fast or how slow it is.

The Lack Of Pigeons

Hi everyone so for period five today we are doing drama. Our drama is also reading and we are doing the reading part and we are in groups my group is yellow and green so I have more options in what I get to pick but my teacher gave me so question to answer so here we go.

Describe Meredith'’s personality.. Well I think her personality she is pretty creative and out going and she really wants to make her dream come true.

Why did Meredith tell people she had an audition?
Because she wanted people to know what she wanted to be when she older

How did Meredith's Mum react to news of the audition?
I think she was proud that her daughter got in to an audition of a detective.

What is the author trying to tell us in this story?

That you dream can come true if you believe it can happen 

Predict what would happen if there really was an audition.
She would be really happy that she might become a detective.

What do you think happens at an audition?
She gets the part of a detective and her dream comes true

Samoan Tattoos

Hello everyone how are you today? So this blog post is about a tattoo artiest in Samoan called Tyla. When she was younger she loved to make art and love to draw, when she was in high school she did designing Pacific for her family and it become impotent to her. She is also proud of who she is her family encouraged her to pick up a tattoo gun and she started tattooing. Her dad told her she should do her own tattoo design. She use coil machine she loves the sound it makes it tells her when its running and if the ink is going in to the person skin. She loves making diamond-shapes it has meaning but its a powerful symbol for Samoan woman.

Overall I think it was a good story.    

Umu

Hello everyone how are you today. We are doing another task but this time its for Samoan and about the umu.

What is an Umu? What does it need, what is it for?

An umu is something that you cook in the ground or on rocks. Its need a fire wood rocks and leaves coconuts.

How are traditional Samoan skills taught?

well normal they are self taught or shown how to do it at a young age.

Is there something you’ve experienced similar to an umu? What was it? Where did you experience it? no I have never had an experienced and umu before.

What types of things are cooked in an umu?

Sometime it  includes fish and other seafood such as octopus along with pork, chicken, lamb, taro, bananas and other vegetable.
