  2. Kia ora Jessica!

Well done on getting started on the Summer Learning Journey activities so quickly, and for taking the time to research some interesting facts about our beautiful country. You're right, given the size of our country, that is quite a lot of forest. We're actually very lucky to have such a lovely, green country to call home. Do you live near any forests? I used to, but now I live in central Auckland so I'm surrounded by big concrete office buildings and house instead of trees. I really like the picture you've included in your post, it shows just how beautiful our little country is. Just remember to tell us where you sourced your images from, OK? Here's a link to help you do that on your future blog posts:

You've made a great start, Jessica. I'm looking forward to reading more of your posts soon :)

    Happy blogging!

    3. Mōrena Jessica,

I'm so sorry about the late reply. The Summer Learning Journey team were lucky enough to get some time off over Christmas and New Years, so I'm only just getting the chance to catch up on reading all of your wonderful blog posts and comments now :)

A 'digital footprint' is something everybody who uses the internet has. It is a trail of data you create while you're online. It includes things like the websites you visit and the blog posts you upload. The digital footprint activity is asking you to tell us ways you can keep that footprint positive by being cybersmart. This could include things like; not sharing your personal information online, and keeping your usernames and passwords private. Does that make sense? Let me know if you need anymore help :)

      Happy blogging!

      Mikey

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
