Hunt For The Wilderpeople

Hunt for the Wilderpeople was made on 31 March 2016. Some of the  characters were Sam Neill as Hec, Julian Dennison as Ricky, Rima Te Wiata as Bella. Ricky is a troubled boy who never really had a family till now, he ran away from the police with Hec. In the movie I liked how they add all the details and add the part where you're like “what's going to happen next, are they going to get caught”. I didn’t really dislike anything. The movie was a good movie. I think this movie is good for 12+ people because it could teach young kids bad things like guns and running away. I give the movie a 5/5 five though I really enjoyed it.

 Hello in sewing we made some re-usable gift wraps we had to make a pattern for the gift wrap first we did it on our computer then our teacher printed it and then we put it on some fabric.

 Hello everyone I wrote a 102 word story culture kete we got given a photo to write about.

Tonight was the night I got to go to see the best culture performance ever. This performance is made with all cultures, it's going to look amazing, all the dances and singing it's going to look amazing, all the pretty lights, the flags look amazing. I sat there and watched the people dance and sing the performances. I loved everyone's outfit. They were all so smooth with their dancing they all stayed on time and in rhythm. After everything the people walked around with their flags to the front and bowed and said thank you to everyone that came to the performance.

Paragraph 3

 Hola everyone today in class we did another SEXXXY paragraph this is part 3. This time we had to pick a photo and write about it I choose the one where they are hiding from the police.

 

In this scene Hec and Ricky just ran down and hid. It is a very tense scene. Hec has a gun in his hand and is hiding from the police. The camera is a medium  close up shot, they are sitting behind like a bush. It also looks like the moon is just starting to rise because of the dim colours and the blueish shading. They both look pretty scared, Ricky is also hiding from the police but he looks more scared than Hec. They are in a position where they are ready to run away if they get caught. In this scene the audience could be shocked or wondering if they're going to get caught. The director added this because they want the audience to think something bad is going to happen.  In this scene I was thinking that there going to get caught and I really like how they add the dim colours.

Hunt for the wilderpeople SEXXXY

 Hello everyone how are you today. I was writing a SEXXXY paragraph but this is the second one of it. This is one a different topic and this time we have to highlight each meaning of the SEXXY so we know where we used them. I learned how to write a SEXXXY paragraph like adding all the elements. This helped my writing by adding more detail and help the reader understands. My favourite part of film study has been the writing and the movie.

Here's my paragraph.

At the beginning of the movie Hec’s attitude was like cold, rude and he like to keep to himself. This was all towards Ricky he didn’t really like kids and didn’t want anything to do with them. You could tell this by the way he talked to Ricky and when the camera zoomed in on Hec’s face at the beginning when he had the pig on his back. Hec scrunched his face up So people may think like he’s rude and no one will like him and he has no heart. The director added this because he wanted to show people can changed because during the movie Hec starts to care about Ricky. Hec started to become nice towards Ricky because he spends so much time with Ricky and slowly starts seeing Ricky as a person more than a nuisance. At then end of the movie Hec and Ricky go back on a adventure. The movie is trying to show a message that people can change even if it seems like they can’t.

Kiwiana

 Hello everyone for the past few weeks now I have been working on a brochure. My brochure is for culture kete the culture I am doing is Kiwiana my culture. Some Things I put in my brochure are landmarks, the Kiwiana place and statues.
