100 word challenge, little frog

 Hello today in class I did a 100 word about a little frog making a heart with it hands. Here's my story.

 Hello angel, I saw you were sad today, yea i’m a frog and you can’t understand what i'm saying so i'm going to make you happy by doing a little dancey dancey. I see you smiling. I jumped onto your knee and started ribbing. I write my name in some mud for you “i’m leaf and you are” ah your name is cloud. I let you pick me up because you seem very sweet. Are we going somewhere like your house? Maybe we are because you're getting up and walking. we are home. I make a little heart for you.

Winter Learning Journey

We have started the winter leaning journey or mostly known has the summer learning journey we have 20 task to pick from through out the 2 weeks we have off school. So kids are suppose to do the task through out the 2 weeks but we start on Thursday. I choose to do the flag task it were you have to make a flag using shapes from google drawing here what I made. The flags are Turkey, Argentina, Germany, China, Finland,  Japan and Venezuela.  

Debating

Hello today is class we are doing debating and im going to tell you want debating, pros and cons, proposition, opposition and order of debate here what they mean.

debating- Its like an argument where to sides can speak about what they think or what they want to change or something. 

pros and cons-  Its advantages and disadvantages, which you consider carefully so that you can make a sensible decision.

proposition- A statement or assertion that expresses a judgement or opinion

opposition- Resistance or dissent, expressed in action or argument

politics

Hello everyone for about 4-8 weeks we have been working on doing politics and policies in social study's. we had to pick 5 policies then we had to explain why we picked those policies and we also had to pick a name, slogan and a logo for our work. Then we presented in front of the year 7, 8 and 9s. 

 

heat transferring

 Hello today is our last day of our chemistry class and we are learning about heat.

Moving heat from one place to another.

Conductor of heat- Can pass on heat from one thing to another. Like when you put a knife on the stove or when body heat passes.

insulator of heat- doesn't pass on the heat. Like a house when you wanna keep in the worm or a bed/ blankets.

convection- heat transfer without contact. cold air sinks as more since its heavy and hot air rises.

we lit tea bags on fire an once the fully burned the yet up into the air because the spared out this happened because of convection they were also less heavy so they could go up and they come down because they were heavy because they were cold.

STEAM

 Hello everyone today is our last week of doing our steam this is our third week of doing this. We made a cooling and heating top and this stop us from using a lot of energy. I have been working with Maddison, Nici, nevaeh and Sophie.

 It is important for high school students to learn about politics

It is important for high school students do learns about politics. Kids need to learn how to make decisions and arguments. Like say you are fighting for helping more wild life the kids can learn how to debate about it. So overall I think that its important for high school kids to learn about politics.  

Do Now-Thrusday

Being able to be confident when public speak is an important life skill.

Being able to public speak is an important life skill. If you didn't have this life skill you would never be able to speak up in front of a crowd or a few people. Like if you were walk up on stage then just stand there not saying anything about to cry that's showing you don't have the confidence to do that, but if you are able to get up there and speak clear that shows you can speak publicly. So overall having the confidence to publicly speak up is an important skill to have
