Tom And The Look-Around

Hello everyone today I read a short story call Tom and the look-around its about a boy who got left with his grandpa because his mum had to work and he meet a friend but his friend wasn't human it was a seal. Here are some questions I get to answer.

Why was Tom angry he was angry because his mother left him with his grandpa but he was left with my computer no internet and no friends so he felt mad upset feel like his mother didn't love him.

Did he handle his anger well? Is there anything he could have done differently? He did not handle well at all he didn't even want to look at his mother. He could have ask his mum why he had to be here with out his computer or why she had to work or maybe just e happy he could be with his grandpa.

How did Tom feel when he began to calm down? He felt sorry for the way he was like to his mum and he shouldn't of treated her like that and he felt like he messed up and should say sorry for yelling at her.

Is there similarities/differences between Tom's story and the Kekeno? Well between both Tom and the seal they both are alone the both feel sad like they were just left with nothing and no one.

Can you relate to Tom in any way? Yes I can e an Tom both feel alone but we always forgive in this end no matter what.

Tapa Cloth

Hello everyone. This blog post is about our tapa cloth haiku so a poem about what we did we have to right poems in a row like 5 7 5 so we can only right one line with 5 and one line with 7 and another one with 5.

So here we go.

The fish is pretend on.

The cloth is made from bark chalk.

Then it is dyed brown.

That is my poem today on jun 9th we dyed of tapa cloth I had a brown one so I use brown dye here are so steps on how it went.

1. We drew a plain of what we were doing like our patterns.
2. Then we got give this paper that you can put chalk on.
3. Then we dyed them.
4. Then we go over then with charcoal after it dried.   

These are the materials  

1. White paper.
2. Brown or black paper.
3. Chalk light brown or white.
4. Water, paint brushes , brown or white ink.
5. Charcoal.

My next steps would be to put the charcoal on but I have to wait for it to dry first before I start drawing on in it then after I put the charcoal on it I will make a blog about it.

Drama

hello everyone how are you? Today in drama we did freeze frame we were making and freeze frame from a story and we have to turn it real. Now i will explain what a freeze frame is.

So a freeze frame is where you take a story are movie or you come with your own ideas so you will get in to a pose and freeze for 3 seconds but 3 long ones and then you movie on the the next scene.

So for our freeze frame we did it off a story and these are the steps.

1. Jacob went to the lake to fish.
2. The water took him in seconds and ran into rocks.
3. Then an old man that his mum was friends with saved him.
4. Then he called Jacobs mum after getting home.
5. They went home and took him home and talked to the neighbour madly.
6. Then went home and have dinner. 

After The Storm-DLO

Hello everyone how are you? So in drama we have a reading part for drama and today on this nice gloomy day we are doing reading. Then next period we are doing drama. So for this part i'm doing a D.L.O so a digital learning object and I picked the drawing D.L.O. This is what it looks like.

The Present

Hello everyone. Our teacher signed us a task to do we had to watch a video and answer some question here are the question.

• How would you describe the boy at the start of the video?

At the start the boy was really into he was really in to his game and when his mum got home he didn't want to be disturb by his mother but she put at box and open the blinds.

• What did he think of his present? How do you know? Why did he feel that way?
  He felt happy at the start till he saw the dogs leg the through it to the ground and kept playing his game then more into the story he start laughing at the dog because the dog was being cute and chasing the ball.

• What lesson did the boy learn by the end of the film?
  To respect everyone and everything no matter what he looked like nor who they were and to care for that person or that something because we should always love what we have or what we get,
• Why is it important to be grateful for what we have?

Because you never know how long its going to last nor how long you will have it for. to be grateful for what you have you need to love it and use it or spend time with it so no matter what we have or what we should be given you should always respect it

Reading-After The Strom

Who is in this family? Sam is one of the brother, Matthew hes the other brother, Jessie is the sister then there dad and mum.

Jessie feels scared and weird about the skull they food and she want Matthew to put it back.

Would you have put your hand down the hole? Why/why not? I would not put my hand down a hole because I don't know if its safe but I would put a stick down it first.

What does strewn mean? Write a sentence using the word strewn. The class room was very strewn with pencils and pens clean it up. Strewn mean untidy or scattered.
