Christchurch earthquakes

 Hello everyone today im going to be answering questions about the Christchurch earthquakes. 

What impact did the earthquakes have on Christchurch? Well the earthquake was 6.3 and it struck Canterbury in Christchurch. At this time it was still recovering from the 7.1 earthquake from 2010. The 2011 still had a very big impact making a significant change to the natural environment. So this had a huge impact this happened for 22 February 2011. 

what positives or negatives come from this earthquake? Well I don't think there are any positives but its getting fix but I can think of negatives well 185 people died and several thousand were injured  in this big earthquake. 

What have people done to help this? Some people have donate to help repair some house and buildings the where broken in the earthquakes. The nurse and doctor helped the people who were injured in the earthquakes. We are thankful for these people because they want to help so we don't have much damage in the future.

S'mores Without Fire

 Hello everyone today we "cooked" our s'mores so last week we made our "oven" out of card bored and tinfoil then today we made the s'mores it was fun to make. and we got to eat it in the end they were very yummy here's a photo.

Hello everyone today in class I finished my work. We had to do a bingo a glossary and we had to pick a story from the book we read about the history of protest for that one I picked the women's right to vote.

Inclusiveness-A Judgement

 Hello everyone for awhile now we have been looking at inclusiveness. This means like including people for who they are or what they are. So my teacher gave me a task by talking about a judgement I gave or someone gave to me I will talk about a judgement I have got from people. 

So I'm transgender. Ever since I have come out kinda I have been judge about it only by some people but I get support by all my other good and trustful friends coming out was the hardest thing for me. I knew I would get judge for it so I said to myself I had get over the fact I would get judge. Tho it was so hard for me to ignore people I had to try now I just remind them i'm he/they and if they keep saying that i'm a she I just ignore them or just tell the teacher.

Energy-Wind

 Hello everyone today we are suppose to pick an energy. We had to pick out of Solar, Wind or Geothermal and I pick wind we are do make and "art work" showing it but im going to talk about how it work.

Well wind is an energy how well when wind mills spin it pick up wind and then it creates energy from that. How does this work with rockets well when a rocket take off it goes into the air but a rocket goes really fast so it shots through the wind but when it gets to space some needs to help hold it in space.

Some good things about wind is that it can dry thing but also is you put a wind mill in to a windy place and it does stop being windy then it keeps going with out anything. Some bad things about wind is that if there is no wind a wind mill can't spin but also if something breaks it doesn't work ether.

WW1-Letter and Research

Hello everyone today in class our teacher gave us a different class for WW1. We had to write a letter like we were in the war and sending a letter home to our family. Then we had to do some research. Everything that I have done today is on here under this I hope you enjoy have a good day bye.

The reason why the soldiers went to war was to help their country and save people from their country and stop the war.  

Hello mum, dad, sister and other family members it's been a long time since I last saw you. War is getting harder and harder. People are dying, people are getting sent to hospital. I'm lucky to be alive and not in hospital. It’s hard to sleep thinking about all the people who have died and my friends I made here then died. I hope to come home soon. I miss you all so much and I hope this war ends soon. Stay safe, be brave, love you all.

They spent 8 long months fighting in Gallipoli and passchendaele.

Well around 18,000 new Zealanders died and about 41,000 were injured.

Well despite the fearful cost nz rejoiced in their country’s part of a successful outcome.
