Christmas Eve

Hello everyone today we wrote a story on the picture down below our teacher instructed the class what to do. I based my story of wonderland but in a Christmas way with the white rabbit and that. I really enjoy writing this because I could come up with anything. 

As I walk up to the house I notice the two big trees that look like a beautiful walk way and the dark shady sky with shiny stars glowing through. I look over across from the trees and I see more trees and the top of the beautiful lit up house with smoke coming from the fire place. the white snow shines with the light from the house its soft and free feel like a wonderland walking through the snow. Hi I'm Bliss I'm a white rabbit who lives deep in the forest but I found this wonderland of a place and thought I should look around. 

I have soft white fur that flow smoothly in the wind I have one ear the sticks up and one ear the flops. My nose and a soft pick with two black dots on each side and I have soft pink paws too bright blue eyes the glow in the moon light. I found this beautiful how and this wonderland of a place so I thought I should look around and adventure I hoped up to the first out and jumped inside and looked around.

There was this one guy who didn't like me being in hes town and wanted me gone or dead even one else loved me its like they have never seen a bunny before. As I walked out the house this guy was right there ready to get me I ran down into the town hopping away from him. He chased me all around the town till the Mayer picked me up and told him to stop. I cuddled into her scared of this man. 

She starts telling this man off for chasing me and trying to kill he apologise to her and she walks off me in her arms. As she walks around a look around the places looking at all the amazing house and decorations. she takes me back up to the trees and put me down. She sets me back off to my family saying goodbye hoping I would come back next Christmas Eve. 

  

Debating

 Hello in this class we have been doing debating so we get put into teams of three and have a argument for if we agree or disagree. We write down ideas and we say them in our group only one team wins and that's the team with the best ideas. I haven't done much in this class well much debating so it been a bit boring and maybe for others its been fun it wasn't that challenging it was a pretty laid back relaxed class. I don't really wanna go into year 10 next year I feel its just going to be as bad as this year is. 

Business and Enterprise

 Hello everyone today we got to explain thing about our Business and Enterprise, I love and hate doing Business and Enterprise because some year it doesn't go to well and some year it does or the product or dumb. This year I hope it goes well we are making candles and I love candle and I have a good group. 

100 words challenge

Privet everybody we got to write an 100 word challenge our teacher gave us a photo of pools with water slides. Here is my 100 words

It's a really hot day and my friends and I are burning up so we all decided we wanted to go to the pools. One of my friends knew this really great pool with a huge water slide and great pool. My friend drove us down to the pool. When we got there we all paid for the water slides and to go in after we all paid we got dressed and jumped in the pool. It was so nice and cool we got out and went on the water slides. We all went down together. That was a bad idea, it hurt but we had a fun time.

Science & Maths

 For the last 2 weeks we have been doing a project for maths and science. We drew a house, and we did all the calculations for it. 

Aim: We did this to put together some ideas that we have learnt, current, voltage, and area/perimeter.

Method: I chose to do house number 1, and a used 7 bulbs. 

Results: I measured voltage for each bulb on each pathway. 

    Pathway 1= 1 Bulb = 200V. 200/1

    Pathway 2= 2,3,4 Bulb = 66.67V each. 200/3. 

    Pathway 3= 5,6,7 Bulb= 66.67V each. 200/3.

Current was measured for each pathway.

    Pathway 1=  200v ÷ 1 8A

    Pathway 2= 200 ÷ 3 2.67A

    Pathway 3= 200 ÷ 3 2.67A

This was an okay activity I didn't really enjoy it I can't really do anything next time because it wouldn't change anything. It would still be the same boring activity. 

Health-vaping games

Hello, in Health we were set a task that required us to make a something for vaping my group decided to make a game called 5 second rules but its different its for vaping we made cards, tokens and a board. From there we began the process too make the game. We printed out and five and put it on some paper that made the board we also made the cards that had the questions on them and the person had five seconds to answer. it was a challenged because we had to work has a team and get this down without losing it or re-doing the whole game it was also hard to think about what we should do and also finding the questions. Our game is too teach people the bad parts of vaping like anxiety, stress, vape tongue etc. The making part was very annoying to make we changed the five out to a different board writing the cards our and doing the rules. Next time I would probably do a different game and not five second rules or maybe something other than a game because this game was pretty boring I didn't like playing it and it doesn't make sense.

Ellipsis (FANBOYS)

Hello in my English class today I finishes of my work my class were put into group, for different things I was put into ellipsis. those are the three dots (...) like in a sentence it would be like "Hey we should... never mind its fine" it can be used for when you go to say something but you don't or if you take a long brake before saying something. 

business and enterprise.

We are learning these vocabulary words so we understand what they mean like if we grow up and we ever need a loan we need to know what a loan means and how it works. We had to write 5 different words and write the meaning of those words.

Business and Enterprise is important to learn at our school because in the future if we get a job we need to learn how to organise money or how to like run business. Kids should start learning how to save and look after their money at a young age maybe like year 5-7 so they understand as they get older. To make sure they don't go out and spend money on random things they don't need or will get bored of in like and day or so. It's good to teach kids this stuff at a young age.    

If you start running a business and you don't know how to give out the money equally or how much to give to your co-workers then its going to be hard to start running a business. If you get a job at 13+ and you get paid for that job and you just go out and spend all of it after getting paid right away. You aren't saving your money for something you actually need its stuff you want so you would need to know how to save your money instead of just going out and spending it.  

Imagine you got paid 20 dollars and you go and spend 10 of that of something stupid like jewellery, candy, toys you don't need that you want it. You are spending your money of thing you don't really need it would be better to spend you're money on things like food, drinks, college, bill. You could even just put that money away and save up. 

Overall my opinion would be just to save the money or spend it on things you need not want. If you're running a business know how to share the money out equally or if you ever need extra money borrow a loan but remember to always pay the money back. Knowing how to save or spend your money right before just going to the real word without knowing anything about business and enterprise.

Commitment- I have committed to my physics class doing all my work and getting it done on time. 

Achievement- I feel that I achieved the English class very well.  

Resilience- I feel I was able to do this in my Wananga class. 

Respect- I was able to respect all my teachers in all my classes.

Arts Kete- My arts kete is going well we are doing preformace and I'm doing music and lighting and working on helping the groups. Other than that im not doing much but its a really fun arts kete. 

I worked okay with a few relievers but sometimes I wasn't my best and had problems in the class but most of them I was pretty good with most of the relievers. I could have done pretty then I was but I choose not to and I didn't turn it around witch I should have.

My goal next week is to work on getting my work done faster and if we have relievers to be a good student and not course trouble that also goes to my normal teachers and actually listen to my teacher instead of not listening.

The Cay

 I re-made a book cover of the cay in my own style and how I would see the cay. I think that this cover fits the story of the book more because the first cover looks happy and colourful though the story line is glumly and sad.

Tongan Language Week

 Hello everyone for the past week we have been working on Tongan language week. My teacher gave us some slide with things to do on them we had to get as much done as we could with the days we had during the week. I learnt a lot of new things from this and a lot of new Tongan things like the coat of arms.

Ch 12-13 Qs

Phillip and Timothy have been on the cay for 48 days the kept track of this by using stone and putting one in a can everyday. Phillip covered Timothy and put a wet cloth on his head to keep him cool and same with the shade cover. Phillip started to climb the tree then he stopped like half way then Timothy said something to help him keep going and he also didn't wanna let Timothy down. Timothy is teaching Phillip these skill so in case Timothy dies Phillip can take care of himself. Phillip grew up thinking all black men were bad people so he was kinda a racist but he ask Timothy "are you still black"? because Timothy was helping him and being nice to him.

Cow Eye Dissection.

On Wednesday period 3 we did an eye dissection on a cow eye my teacher showed us a video on how to do the dissection. Before this we have been learning about the different parts of they eye and what they do. After the video we go given a tray, scissors and a pair of tweezers to work with the eye.

The cornea is the clear outer layer of the eye that The cornea helps your eye to focus light so you can see clearly, The pupil of the eye is a portal which admits and regulates the flow of light to the retina, The iris helps control the size of the pupil to let more or less light into the eye,  lens is an important part of the eye's anatomy that allows the eye to focus on objects at varying distances. The retina contains millions of light-sensitive cells (rods and cones) and other nerve cells that receive and organise visual information. Your retina sends this information to your brain,  the clear, watery fluid between the cornea and the front of the vitreous. The aqueous humour bathes and nourishes the lens and maintains pressure within the eye the humour is also the middle of the eye but its not on the diagram. optic nerve It transmits sensory information for vision in the form of electrical impulses from the eye to the brain.

We had to cut off the fat from the eye then pierce into the eye to cut is open and then we had a look on the inside of the eye to see all the different parts of the eye. I didn't enjoy it the dissection was very gross and there was a risk on some gross liquid squirting out of it the person who I was working with couldn't pierce through they eye so it was really gross. I did really find anything inserting about the dissection. I didn't really expect it to be a bluey white. 

Do Now-Calypso

When I listen to the Calypso music I think of like beach music you will find in a movie. Maybe a relaxing day at the beach playing in the water getting a tan making sand castles. I can also imagine people dancing to this song have a good time. Like a type of music you might find in Hawaii its very up beat and enjoyable. Calypso music

I have to created my on metaphor or simile for someone's voice because in the book timothy is described as having a "soft Calypso voice".

Snow Day

 Hello everyone, today it snowed and no one in my class could stay reading because they were more interested in the snow and when my teacher asked if we wanted to go outside everyone screamed and ran.

It's the 9th of august 2021 and it has finally snowed after 11-10 year. It wasn’t snowing heavily but it was still snowing. It last snowed in 2012-2013 that had heavy snow that was about up to your uncles. The snow has been on and off today. My teacher let us go out and play in the snow for a little while because we were more interested in the snow than our books. It has stopped again (10:27am) but I'm sure it will pick up again. Sometimes it is heavy, sometimes it is soft. It's now gently raining with a nice shine of sun. It's still kinda a gentle snow but mostly rain when we were able to go outside. It was pretty cold but very pretty. I enjoyed being out there in the snow even though I was just standing there it was funny to watch everyone jump around. They seemed to enjoy the snow a lot. I also had a lot of snow in my hair. 10:36 it has started snowing again, the sun has gone away and it is kinda heavy again. The snow is very beautiful. You would think it's thick but it's nice to stand on and pretty to look through.

Do Now-Schooner

 The Schooner as a long but thin deck with 4-6 sails. One side in very long and pointy and one end is short it looks black maybe a dark blue and it can be other colours like red,white,brown etc with white sails. If you were standing on the Schooner you could probably see in the water and see whats close to the surface with the length you could probably stand on one end and see pretty far out then on one side pretty close in.
